By far the best of the Pipers River aromas; true Pinot, albeit clearly well into middle age, and drying a little. Deep, rather inky flavours, and the oak is still clearly visible which it really shouldn’t be at this stage.

Juicy, luscious, savoury and spicy. There is some sharpness on this which I cannot fathom, especially at this age.
