Tasting: Languedoc

Medium young colour, quite a discreet nose. Quite solid with some furry tannins, a bit confit, and a touch flat on the finish.

Deep black red. Lively cherry fruit scents. Deep, tongue-coating flavours in a very juicy style. Exuberantly primary and, I’d guess, fine value. Lovely wine of place as well, though.

Charming, lifted cherry and raspberry perfume. Velvety, rich, lots of mass and damsony depths. True schist wine, slightly edgy and exciting, with good potential too
