Tasting: St. Aubin 2011

 Rich apple and mango nose with a touch of oak. Rich, plump, rather heavy and plodding, with a lack of freshness and verve. There’s an appealing nuttiness on the mid-palate but insufficient acidity to give much length. Solid but unexciting.

 Less clumsy than previous wine but lacks minerality and charm. Still quite hefty.

Lemon yellow, fine floral nose, good lifted fruit and clear white flowers expression, lifted and elegant and will stay fresh for some time, while gaining complexity.
