Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Tarry nose, with overbearing oak. Very rich, opulent, and weighty, with good concentration of fruit. But it’s monolithic with little light and shade. Perhaps this solid wine will become more nuanced in time, though the relatively low acidity and hints of overripeness suggest otherwise. Moderate length.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Lively, spicy, dark fruit nose. Oak present but integrated. Ripe but balanced on the palate. Modern in style but harmonious. Touch of alcohol on the finish.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Fine fragrance of Merlot lifted by Cabernet Franc. Lovely smoothness of texture on the palate with ripe, crunchy fruit that refreshes while maintaining length of flavour. Very well made, a lovely expression of St. Emilion.
