Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Savoury nose, lacking brightness of fruit. Rich but soft and rather heavy, lacking bite and vigour despite the acidity on the mid-palate. A solid wine with few nuances and firm tannins, but there’s little excitement or flair. Quite good length, with coffee tones on the finish.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Quite big and powerful. Liquorish, dark fruit notes on the nose. Ripeness a little pushed. Palate plummy and full. Tight, dry tannic finish.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Concentrated black fruits nose, black cherries and lots of natural ripeness. Big and almost sweet on the palate, broad, even a little massive and chunky; the richness will dominate over vineyard expression.
