Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Robust, black cherry and clove nose. Plump, juicy and full-bodied, this has good depth of fruit. Suave tannins give structure, though high alcohol slightly mars the finish, which also shows some dryness. Sound but rather charmless.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Expressive, aromatic nose. Plush and full on the palate. Rich, full and broad. Powerful tannic frame. Tight and dry on the finish. Alcohol shows. Big, assertive wine.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Richly extracted, chocolaty and coffee bean nose. Quite chunky, even massively expressed fruit, some good fragrance from Cabernet Franc, but overall a bit on the sweet side.
