Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Very oaky nose obscures the fruit and gives a light savoury tone. Surprisingly soft attack, concentrated and lush, a hedonistic style with no angularity or harshness. There’s some spice and lift on the finish, but the oak is still excessive, giving a rather dry finish. Quite long.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Lively, fresh nose – mineral and (almost) citrus notes. Lovely attack – firm and fresh and backed by generous fruit. Oak perhaps a touch too present.

Tasting: St. Emilion Grand Cru & Premier Grand Cru Classe
Ripe blackberry fruit. Well-concentrated Merlot flavours with natural extraction, already quite forward with tannins and acidity for a mid-term future.
