Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Fairly deep to deep red. Subdued nose, cherries rather than red fruits. Rich, a touch severe and dense now, robust and concentrated, with with sufficient acidity to balance it. This clearly needs time but should pull through as it doesn’t lack fruit. Quite long.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

attractive, youthful fruitiness;
coffee and ripe Pinot aromas, with fine oak making its mark here;
full structure, good dense fruitiness, fine, freshly balanced finish.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Another dark colour. The bouquet is very reticent, but there is a good density of rich fruit, backed by tannins more than acidity. A lighter touch would have got even higher marks though.
