Domaine des Perdrix

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
Sweet smoky nose, Quite oaky and stylish; cherry and raspberry coulis aromas. Rich and surprisingly weighty for a Village wine, with ample tannins and perky acidity to balance the ripe fruit. This has an appealing briskness and directness on the palate and almost a racy character. It does show some subtlety as well as charm. Balanced and satisfying. Good length.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
vibrant purple ruby, one of the deepest in range ;
fresh, ripe Pinot fruit, clean;
bright attack, acidity noticeable, medium weight, tannins rather present on finish.

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010
By some way the darkest colour of the flight, with a dark berry fruit nose, rather lacking in finesse. There’s enjoyable fruit on the palate but I prefer more delicacy in my Burgundy. Slightly firm tannins and not as long on the finish as the best examples.
