Battistelle
Manufacturer:
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Soave
Pale straw. Green apple, pear, minerals on subdued, elegant nose. Then fresh saline with mouthwatering acidity, a little tannic. Clean, could use more fruit.
Michael Garner
Tasting: Soave
pale silver straw. Broad, ripe and scented with lifted citrus aromas of herbs and flowers, and even a creamy edge. Juicy but at the same time elegant and restrained. Beautiful, long, nuanced mineral-toned finish. Delicious.
Jane Hunt MW
Tasting: Soave
Citrussy nose with some lean minerality. Not very typical of classic Soave. Dull – acetone flavours. Pedestrian. Don’t bother.
