Organic property located in one of the most southerly spots of Graves with predominantly clay soils. The blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, made by Fabian Goulard, who bought the estate just a few years ago, when it was on the cusp of its organic certification. This has firm fresh tannins, fleshy raspberry fruits, aged in a mix of Bordeaux and Burgundy barrels, around 50% new. Can see the potential here, savoury edge and little short.
