Château Haut Bergey 2014

Good fleshing out of the Sauvignon and attractive stone fruit in the mid-palate but for me the classic varietal characteristics are a little on the lean side, acidity pulling things in tight, although there is smart winemaking on display here, and the 50% of new oak barrels adds weight .
