Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Lush ripe blackberry nose, quite opulent. Rich, plump, luxurious, with good depth of black fruits, concentrated and spicy. The tannins are a touch severe but there’s no astringency and they should integrate with more bottle age. Structured and long.

Ronan Sayburn MS

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Nose fine but slightly closed, palate balanced with classic flavour of pencil shaving, gravel and black fruits, damp tobacco and sold tannins on finish.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Black-red, purple rim, very good concentration of black berry fruits, lots of density and true Cabernet expression, quite smooth and very rich on the palate, but not over-weight, just still a bit raw and the oak shows a bit, will be a very good wine.
