The winery’s growth in the UK market over the last two years has been exceptional. The sales growth of their flagship wine Trivento Reserve Malbec has tripled in 2014 alone which resulted in Trivento becoming the top-selling Argentinian brand in the UK since March 2015. Samantha Green, Marketing Manager, explains the winery’s remarkable achievement in the British market: “In 2014 we closed a deal with the Aviva Premiership Rugby, making us the only winery officially linked to rugby in the UK, this places us among a host of internationally prestigious brands.  Combined with national distribution across leading supermarket chains, we have strong visibility with consumers that love both wine and sport.” Trivento has continued its affiliation with Aviva Premiership Rugby, and will continue as an Official Supporter until June 2017.

Germán Di Cesare, Trivento’s chief winemaker, oversees the elaboration of this success Malbec. “I want to ensure that anyone who tries our Trivento Reserve Malbec is going to experience some truly positive sensations. The aim is to provide a point of reference of origin and a style inside our wines that everyone will enjoy discovering. We want you to encounter the fruit, the elegance and the complexity that characterizes them. Our wines have life, they’re joyful, and they’re perfect company to one’s day-to-day experiences”.

Trivento Reserve Malbec is a bright-carmine red from Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley vineyards. It was named a Top Choice, by the renowned English magazine Which? – a consumer rights publication delivering unbiased information on diverse products and services. The magazine describes it as ‘an attractive, dense, darkly fruity and spicy red wine’. One of the experts commented that the wine is “a flavour-packed mouthful…I really like it a lot. Buy this!”

The style of Trivento winemaking leaves the personal mark of Germán inside each bottle. “We make honest wines; they’re fresh and easy to understand. We study the location, the soil, the climate, and even the winds that give rise to our namesake and forge the identity of our terroir”, he says.

Since 1996 Trivento has created an exclusive portfolio that preserves the character of the Mendoza terroir. Its first wine export was to the UK in 1998. Mendoza possesses a long tradition of winegrowing. It is the most prestigious wine-growing region of Argentina and one of the world’s Wine Capitals. Trivento has strengthened its status in over 100 markets around the globe, earning its place as one of the top bottled wine exporters in Argentina.

Trivento means three winds: The Polar, Zonda and Sudestada winds blow across the sunny and arid land of Mendoza. Each agitating seasonal wind pierces the intimate calm of Mendoza, leaving their mark in our wines.
