Thirty years ago this tiny region only had a handful of producers, and 5ha planted. After gaining DO status in 1989, it has become one of the best value regions in northern Spain. From local varieties, this is zesty and fresh with apple and peach notes. Lees-ageing adds texture and creaminess to the white fruit
characters.
