Bramhope Wine Appreciation Group has been running for nearly 20 years. The aim of the group has always been to further members' knowledge of wine.
Every month we have a different wine with a theme i.e. grape, country of origin, comparative tastings between the old and the new world, blind tastings, wines at a price both expensive and not so expensive. Wine with food occasionally and even wine guessing games. The evenings are fun and informative, light hearted but with a serious note learning all about wine and how to appreciate and enjoy wine at its best.
New members are always welcome – so don’t worry that you won’t know enough about wine.
We meet at the Robert Craven Memorial Hall on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm (Closed August). Membership £25
Number of students per course: 20 +
