Charmes
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Lively appley nose. Fresh, concentrated, lively, quite perky and vivacious for Charmes, with a peppery tone. Not very complex but vigorous and satisfying. Good length, nutty finish.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
The nose is quite closed and discreet. The palate is strong, with lots of ripe yellow fruits, spices, smoky oak with medium acid in the background. The minerality is dominated by the oak and thus leaves the wine a little flat.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Broad, herby nose, still phenolic and oak present. Rather broad despite the 13% alcohol, with good fruit and structure, but not much finesse.
