History:

Wine was first produced at Yon Figeac in 1882, although at 8000 bottles the estate produced just 6.5% of what it does today. It is one of the larger vineyards in the appellation, and has grown steadily in reputation since its purchased by the Germain family (of Vignobles Bernard Germain) in the 1980s. Among other improvements, the Germains have extensively renovated the vineyard and cellars. The property was sold to them by the Lussiez family, who had owned Yon Figeac for four generations.
