Les Poruzots
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Oily oaky nose, rather clumsy and lacking finesse. Plump, full-bodied, quite concentrated, but a rather heavy style with marked oakiness. It has some freshness but little elegance or persistence.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Deep yellow colour. Nose of toffee apple and candied citrus. The palate is broad and rich with ripe fruits and creamy notes, but backed up with good acid and length. Probably a good crowd pleaser but not my style.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Quite advanced for 2010; rich, rather phenolic nose, lacks the florality of most, but certainly has ripe yellow fruits and robust structure. Seems quite forward now and little prospect of complexity for the future.
