Santenots
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Subdued nose, apple and apricot, gentle oak. Quite rich and creamy, has the weight of good Meursault without being heavy, but the acidity is a touch green and the finish a bit soft. Moderate length.

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Closed on the nose, very tight on the palate, maybe lacking in fruit and charm at this stage, difficult to see where it might get to.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010
Floral with yellow fruits and a hint of fresh almonds on the nose. Good ripeness and fruit and balancing acidity. Oak well blended in, quite open already with firmness of acidity to hold it. Quite broad in style. Could have more finesse but will show well mid-term.
