Score

  • Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
  • Drink: 2012 - 2015

Manufacturer:

Jules Taylor

Peter McCombie MW

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Showing some evolution, with delicate aromas; sweet red fruit, with marked acidity and moderate tannins. Not hugely concentrated but forward and quite appealing.

Christine Parkinson

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Nose is full of exuberant hedgerow fruit and meadow flowers. Firm tannins dominate the palate, but there is a deep core of fruit lying in wait for tannins to soften. Earthy, rather clumsy finish and warm alcohol lets it down. Decanting could help this wine.

Joanna Simon

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Deep colour. Lifted raspberry and mulberry aromas which follow through in the fruit on the palate. Quite full, but not particularly ripe or elegant. Slightly hot on the finish.
