Tebaida
Manufacturer:
Mike Ritchie
Tasting: Bierzo Mencia
Light, fragrant, red fruit notes and vibrant acidity are both surprising and delightful. Well-integrated oak adds a dimension and doesn’t dominate. Intriguingly fresh and appetising.

Tasting: Bierzo Mencia
Quite heavy oaky notes, need some aeration to allow the lovely berry fruit to show up. Clean and fruity in mouth, with a very elegant fruit expression. Would need a better integration of the acidity and more tightly grained tannins, but offers a nice clean fruity finish.

Tasting: Bierzo Mencia
Fine integration of cedary oak and red fruits on the nose. In the mouth there’s a pungent acidity, which gives life to the baked fruit. Dense and mouthfilling style with a brisk grip of tannin on the finish. Needs more freshness to support palate weight.
