Cascina Nuova
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Plum tart and kirsch liquor notes on the nose. Sour cherry and spiced plums on the mid-palate. Meaty and juicy. Lots of layers of spices and preserved red fruits on the aftertaste. Very complex and elegant at the same time. Long and well balanced wine.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very deep red. Light fresh black cherry nose, with a hint of liquorice. Good attack, with ample concentration and some tannic grip as well as fine acidity to lift and refresh the finish. Not that complex but has vigour. Quite long.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Bright rub-red. Very spicy red cherry and herbs on the nose. then more dried herbs, cloves and marjoram complementing faint red cherry flavours. Finishes slightly dry, but this improves considerably with air, picking up in sweetness.
