Campass
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Big and chunky. Muscular and intense. Firm tannins and rustic fruits content. Powder chocolate with modern oak and spices. Generous fruit and acidity content.
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Very deep red. Slightly herbaceous sour cherry and coffee nose. Medium-bodied but sleek and concentrated, with enough fresh acidity to give charm. Quite tannic on the finish.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Bright red. Floral and red berry aromas on the nose, then similar flavours but all could use a boost in power and intensity. Well made, fragrant nicely acidic Barbera. Needs food to show better as it finishes a little on the dry side.
