Fisetta
Manufacturer:
Andrea Bricarello
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Bit dusty on the nose, with a ripe jammy cherry undertone. Muscular on the palate with meaty and spicy notes. Voluptuous and charming finish. The only disappointment is the nose.
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Bright mid plum. Fair intensity of berry fruit aromas; some lift and freshness. Touch of cassis. Ripe and full with lots of soft fruit flavours. Quite well-balanced but lacks typicity.
Ian D'Agata
Tasting: Barbera d’Alba
Ruby-purple. Sweet oaky notes complement almost overripe red plum and red cherry aromas on the nose, with hints of kirsch. Then rich and round, with very ripe red cherry and peppery tobacco flavours that last and last with mounting tannins. For those who like oak and riper styled wines.
