Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Slightly fuller green-gold than most. Rather a closed, constrained aroma; perhaps needs decanting to brighten it up. Firm, long, vinous palate, without a lot of showy fruit or lashings of cream, but with depth and sinew which give it good gastronomic force. The acidity is balanced and not over-prominent. Would merit a higher score with a slightly more enticing aromatic profile.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Savoury nose, lots of fruit expression, clean with a touch of marzipan and almonds at end. Delicate, refreshing and clean.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Pronounced oaky nose, with notes of star anise and tropical fruit. Rich and creamy, massive tropical fruit character on the palate, long and creamy aftertaste.
