Blackberry, cassis and cinnamon nose. Very positive impact on the palate, good development and long finish. Concentrated, linear, balanced, serious wine.

Slightly foxy on nose, palate has breadth and concentration but flavours do not feel clean. Lacks fruit and is too dried out and slightly over-ripe.

Very Burgundian nose with a hint of barnyard, red fruit compote and a compact core of fruit and oak. The palate begins well but the initial blast of ripe fruit morphs into an attenuated finish with little to reward those with patience.
