Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Rich black cherry nose, quite dense. Plump, full-bodied, very concentrated and tannic, but has low acidity and thus lacks flair and zest. Robust and solid but austere and lacks some lift and charm. Chunky finish.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Tight nose, bitter and hard palate, needs some time but has good potential but at the moment is not fun
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Nicely concentrated blackberry and blackcurrant nose, some florality and a touch of leather, very good depth of fruit and the tannins are absorbed by the richness of the fruit, very good depth, firm flavours and a very good future.
