Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dense nose, a bit mushroomy. Soft attack, rounded and plump, but with quite assertive tannins and some savoury tones. Moderate acidity so this lacks some vigour and zest, and it’s a bit too solid. Medium length, dry finish.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Slightly artificial nose, almost chlorine like, similar palate, bright fruit but plastic taste.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Rich blackcurrant nose, good sweet blackcurrant fruit on the palate, smooth and ripe with good oak and tannins to back it up, still not quite knit, but will be a vigourous and elegant wine with fine natural richness.
