Deep. Liquorice, cassis, vibrant nose. Some stalky quality. Full, crisp acidity, chunky palate, muscular tannins, punchy. Well-made firm style. Youthful.

Deep, dark, dense and brooding ruby in colour, this shows sweetly fragrant cassis and liquorice on the nose, with a palate of juicy fresh cassis fruit and well-crafted sub-threshhold oak framed by a spine of lively acidity; it’s quite sinewy in texture.
