Rosabrook
Manufacturer:
Roger Jones
Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon
Quite a hit of alcohol on nose. Cassis on palate, taste is very balanced with some savoury and green peeper notes, tannin is quite dry.
Pierre Mansour
Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep, full colour. Spicy, peppery nose, wonderful cedary Cabernet character too, focussed. Round, harmonious, fleshy palate, ripe tannins that integrate well, firm attractive finish. A very complete wine.
Anthony Rose
Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon
Good depth of colour, engagingly intense black fruits aromas, possibly with a touch of warm blackberry jam, ripe, rich, opulent cassis and blackberry fruit concentration and behind it attractively supple, juicy tannins and nice freshness in an overall balanced framework if just a tad powerful and hot on the finish.
