Cave de la Visitation, Cuvée Aphrodite, Condrieu 2013
Condrieu is regarded as the greatest expression of the Viognier grape anywhere in the world. This example was aged in barrel for ten months before bottling. Rose-perfumed, it has a smooth, round character with vanilla and spices. Apricot and peach flavours coat the mid-palate in a delightfully soft but balanced way. Juicy and delicate.
