Taste the Difference, Barbaresco 2013
This may not be the most complex Barbaresco, but what do you expect when buying a sub-£10 bottle from a fine wine appellation. There is, however, lovely fruit development with sweet and sour cherry and a hint of coffee. The medium weight palate has a smooth texture and firm tannins. Developed cherry fruit characters with cinnamon and clove spices make themselves known on the finish. A bargain.
