Julie Albin is a judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA).

Julie Albin

Julie is an international wine consultant, content specialist, and WSET Certified Educator.

Julie’s previous roles include Head of Wine Education for Bright Cellars, Regional Marketing Manager for WSET Americas, and marketing consultant for brands across the US, UK, EU, Australia, and other countries. She holds the WSET Diploma and continues to teach accredited courses, staff trainings, and consumer tastings.

Julie has written articles for Decanter Magazine, Harpers Wine & Spirit, The Drinks Business, THE PRESS (San Francisco Chronicle), Whisky Advocate, Liquor.com, and other publications. She has also served as a judge for international competitions such as Decanter World Wine Awards, Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards, International Wine Challenge, San Diego International Spirits Competition, American Distilling Institute, and has been a panelist for the Slow Wine awards.

In 2019, she joined DWWA as a judge for the first time.
