History:

Château Broustet was owned by Bernard Capdeville (see also Château Nairac) and for the 1855 classification both Capdeville estates were considered together as one. Long after Capdeville, and following a period of less than consistent stewardship, Didier Laulan, whose family has owned the neighbouring Château Saint-Marc for four generations, acquired Château Broustet in 1994. M Laulan, heir of a long line of winemakers, is himself accomplished in the art of blending.
