Emma Young is a cheese consultant and author based in the UK. Her 15 years of professional experience in the cheese industry has seen her working in, and managing retail shops, making cheese and running the wholesale department for a French cheese distributor, all before starting her own consultancy company in 2020.
She has worked alongside Meilleur Ouvrier de France Laurent Dubois in Paris, and has helped train cheese professionals in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Bermuda and Singapore. She is an international cheese judge, teacher for Mons Formation in France, The Academy of Cheese and Guild of Fine Food in the UK, and she is an ACS Certified Cheese Professional and Garde et Juré in the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers.
