Nigel Buxton was a British travel editor, wine critic and comedian. He was best known to the public as the character, BaaadDad, in the Channel 4 comedy series, The Adam and Joe Show. He became travel editor of The Sunday Telegraph, a post he held for 28 years. Among his published books, he wrote Walking in Wine Country (1993), which won the Lanson Prize for best wine book of the year, and A Penguin Guide to Travel in Europe (1965).
