Philipp Blom is a German author, journalist and radio presenter. As an author, he has published several books, spanning the genres of fiction and historical nonfiction. On wine, he wrote The Wines of Austria (2000), as well the Austrian sections of the Wine Report (2009) and Hugh Johnson’s Wine Guide (2008 to 2011). As a journalist, he has appeared in the Times Literary Supplement, The Financial Times and The Guardian, to name a few. He also regularly presents a live cultural programme on Austria’s Ö1.
