Sue is a Budapest-based wine writer and specialist wine translator. She is Managing Editor of WineSofa, an online magazine focusing on Central and Eastern Europe. Originally a linguist, she then caught the wine bug and has since completed the WSET Diploma, is a Weinakademikerin and a VIA Italian Wine Expert. A glutton for punishment, she is now also a Master of Wine Stage 2 practical-only student. She travels widely in Hungary, other Central and Eastern European countries and Italy to fuel her passion, and is a regular judge at domestic and international wine competitions.
