The glass brasserie is Sydney’s most glamorous wine venue, housing more than 10,000 bottles in a chic restaurant setting. In October glass hosted a special promotion of a selection of top Decanter World Wine Award winners which were available to purchase by the glass.

On 29 September 2010, Decanter teamed up with El Conocedor magazine to host the inaugural Malbec Exclusive Day in Buenos Aires – an exciting event bringing together a tasting of top Argentinian wines, a masterclass led by Decanter World Wine Awards Chairman Steven Spurrier and El Conocedor’s Fabricio Portelli, and an exclusive Decanter World Wine Awards dinner.

Decanter joined Park Hyatt Mendoza in organising a wine fair for trade and consumers, where more than 30 wineries will presented their best wines. Visitors were given the opportunity to taste a line up of exceptional award winners.

Over 1500 visitors to the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November 2010 were given teh chance to taste a selection of 2010 gold and trophy-winning wines from the Decanter World Wine Awards, in the exclusive Gold Room.
