Know-Your-Wines is an introduction to the world of wines designed for those that wish to learn about wine while enjoying a holiday in Tuscany.
Internationally respected journalist and taster Filippo Bartolotta will teach you the fundamentals of wine appreciation through the use of clear and informal teaching methods.
The first three sessions will concentrate on wine history, wine-making, and on the three senses essential to understanding wine: sight, smell and taste.
Specifically aimed ‘games’ and exercises will educate, sharpen and in time perfect your perceptions and responses.
The fourth session will examine wine and food matching. A memorable tour to the Chianti-Classico will complete the course.
