Vinoteca Bar & Wine Shop is proud to host the Tim Atkin Wine School, run in the Private Room below the Wine Bar. Two levels of courses are available - 'Introduction to Wine' and 'Level 2: Life Beyond Pinot Grigio'. They each consist of 6 classes, run every Monday from 7pm for a period of six weeks. The relaxed and informal class, in typical Vinoteca style, is followed by a delicious selection of seasonal food, accompanied by the wines featured during the tasting. Six different wines are tasted each week, linked to the theme of the particular class.
Tim Atkin is one of Britain’s leading wine writers and winner of numerous awards, including the Glenfiddich Wine Writer Award on five separate occasions. He is also co-chairman of the London-based International Wine Challenge, the world’s biggest blind tasting competition and appears regularly on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen.
