La Place de Bordeaux 2024: September release schedule

More than 120 fine wines from around the world will soon be released on La Place de Bordeaux. To ensure you secure an allocation of your favourites, here are the September 2024 dates to mark in your diaries.

We bring you a handy guide to all the key dates for wines released via La Place de Bordeaux in September 2024. Click on a wine below to see the tasting note and score by Decanter’s expert contributors and staff. More will be added soon, along with our comprehensive report and top-scoring wines.

A welcome change this year is a more co-ordinated approach in the release dates of the wines. Starting with Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s Domaine de Baronarques on 29 August, the campaign then sees a week of releases of the historic Hors Bordeaux wines which have featured on La Place for a decade or more.

From 9 September, the week of releases is dedicated mainly to Australia, Piedmont, Tuscany and Sicily. The following week of 16 September features wines from Spain, California, Champagne, Burgundy and the rest of France, while the final week of 23 September focuses on South America.

Several wines do not yet have fixed September release dates (which will be added once confirmed), ahead of October’s launch of new German Rieslings.
