Must-try Sauvignon Blanc wines: 25 top scorers starting from £10

To celebrate International Sauvignon Blanc Day, we've selected 25 outstanding examples starting from just £10 – all current-release wines scoring 95 points or more, from Loire and Bordeaux, to New Zealand, Chile, the US and beyond.

It’s International Sauvignon Blanc Day on 6 May 2024, where wine lovers the world over will raise a glass to a grape prized for its racy acidity, pungent tropical and citrus fruit aromas and flavours as well as grassy green notes.

Over the past year, Decanter’s experts have tasted hundreds of the world’s best examples – from the grape’s homeland of the Loire in France, to popular styles from New Zealand, via Chile, Italy, Australia and the US – and not forgetting classic Bordeaux Blanc.

We have whittled our recommendations down to the 25 top-scoring current releases, starting from the pocket-friendly price of £10.30, to cellar-worthy investment wines that will set you back a cool £600 a bottle.
