Decanter Fine Wine Encounter 2017 highlights
The 20th edition of the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter was held at the Landmark Hotel on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of November 2017. See photo highlights of the day below, or our live social media feed here.

The Decanter Fine Wine Encounter 2017 took place at the Landmark Hotel, in London.
The wines for the Krug masterclass were: Krug Grande Cuvée 163ème Édition, 160ème Édition, 159ème Édition, 158ème Édition, Krug 2004, 2003 and 2002, and Krug 1995 from Magnum.
Olivier Krug lead the first masterclass of Champagne Krug.

The first Discovery Theatre was Premium Wines from Burgundy with Domaine Laroche and Maison Champy.
The second Discovery Theatre was a vertical tasting of Château Lafon-Rochet.

A first for the London Fine Wine Encounters: A Discovery Theatre with a Chinese wine producer, Chateau Changyu-Moser XV.
Oz Clarke signed copies of his books and met fans.
The second masterclass was of Louis Jadot Clos Vougeot wines, with vintages ranging from 2015 to 1969.
The Clos Vougeot vintages were: 2015, 2010, 2009, 2008, 1999, 1991, 1979 and 1969.
The final masterclass was of Chateau Musar wines, with Marc Hochar, family owner.
The wines were: Musar Jeune red 2014, Hochar Pere et Fils 2013, Chateau Musar red 2006, 2004, 2001, 1999, 1984 and 1974. Chateau Musar white 2008 and 1997.
The last Discovery Theatre of the day was Single Vineyard Estates of Spain.
Single Vineyards of Spain was lead by Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW.
The first masterclass for Sunday was Isole e Olena.
The Isole e Olena wines were: Isole e Olena Chardonnay 2012, Chianti Classico 2012 and 2010, Cepparello 2012, 2010, 2006, 2004, 2003 and 1990. Vin Santo del Chianti Classico 2007.
The final masterclass of the weekend was Château Pichon Baron. The wines were Pichon Baron 2014 and 2012, and Pichon-Longueville Baron 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 and 2001.
