Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Ripe but charred blackberry nose. Quite rich and juicy, has abundant fruit and ripe tannins, quite a forward style but none the worse for that, though there seems to be sufficient acidity to keep it afloat. Fairly long.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Bright nose of cherry fruits and raspberry pips, not a heavyweight wine, very floral with violet hints, fresh palate and med-long length.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Good deep red, quite fragrant red berry fruit, hints of leather above the ripe fruit, but also good earthiness and potential complexity, while the nose is opening up,the palate is still quite tight and leathery, but there is masses of fruit and character for the future.
