Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Stewed nose, with a savoury tone. Rounded and plump, a bit lacklustre, with chunky black fruits but little acidity or zest. Lacks flair and persistence. Medium length.
Ronan Sayburn MS
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Big earthy and rustic nose, starting to get tertiary and leathery, big tannins and bright acidity. Medium length.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Black-red, young rim, lots of ripe blackcurrant fruit on the nose, very good concentration of cassis in the pure Medoc style, lots of vigour and lots of depth and really good ripe fruit, still a bit four-square, but very high marks for ripeness, character and depth and a good future.
