Chateau Cantemerle
Manufacturer:
Stephen Brook
Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Opulent oaky nose, with abundant black fruits. Plump, rounded, fleshy, and voluptuous, with a refreshing streak of acidity to cut the opulence. Forward but well balanced, with integrated tannins. Stylish and long.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Rather subdued nose but underlying hints of ripe cassis. Not very concentrated on the palate, in fact quite forward and charming but not particularly deep.medium length, perfectly correct and with ripe tannins but not exceptional.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Densely concentrated colour, rich viscosity showing good extraction. Rich blackcurrant fruit on the nose and a touch of new oak still present. Very ripe, quite thickly textured, shows the richness and ripeness of the vintage, perhaps at the expense of finesse.
