Stephen Brook
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Rich oaky black fruits nose, quite opulent. Quite rich and juicy, full-bodied and lavish. There’s plenty of fruit here, and some spice and pepper to enliven the finish. There’s a lot of oak on the finish, which is both solid and persistent.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Fresh meaty charcoal meat aromas, fine wood, cedar and cigar smoke, round and ripe palate, sweet tobacco fruit and elegant blackberry flavours.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Dense black-red, purple rim, very concentrated black fruits nose and also a bit “cooked”, same rich concentration on the palate, very rich and even sweet and a bit of bitter chocolate, a big, thick and impressive wine, but one that takes the Haut-Medoc style past its comfort zone.
