Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Rich, dense blackcurrant nose, quite oaky. Dense, chunky, unyielding, with little freshness or even overt fruitiness. Not sure this will emerge from its shell. Surly and lacks verve, and it’s too extracted and inky. Moderate length.

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Attractive bright nose, classic aromas of blackcurrants, pencil shavings and damp earth. Good tannis and structure, med-long length.
Steven Spurrier
Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010
Young rim, dense blackcurrant fruit and rather leathery overtones, rather cooked and over concentrated fruit, quite massive and already showing maturity, perhaps made to impress, but won’t last.
